Changelog
What's new in ready→made. Newest first.
October 25, 2026: 🚀 Server conversion engine, image imports & sharper Elementor output (0.6.0 – 0.6.3)
- Server-powered conversions: complex layouts now convert via our server engine, meaning engine improvements and fixes reach you instantly without waiting for a Figma Community plugin update. Text and images are redacted before leaving Figma and reattached locally in the plugin.
- Automatic image imports in Elementor: images, logos and avatars are uploaded and referenced by URL, so Elementor pulls them directly into your WordPress Media Library when pasted instead of replacing them with grey placeholders.
- Elementor style fidelity: outline buttons (border with no fill) keep their transparent background instead of picking up the Default Kit's green accent. Layer opacity and soft text glow effects render accurately.
- No sideways scroll on mobile: absolute layers and wide sections with large side insets keep their designed bounds across phone and tablet viewports.
- HTML asset packages: HTML conversions now provide full-resolution image downloads alongside the markup, with matching asset paths.
- Clipboard reliability: added a dedicated 'Copy result' button for large, complex frames to avoid browser clipboard timeouts.
October 6, 2026: 🛡️ Engine reliability & layout telemetry (0.5.4)
- Layout quality telemetry: anonymous layout and structure captures help detect and patch layout regressions automatically. Text is always redacted locally before transmission.
- Resilient server routing: automatic connection probing with instantaneous fallback ensures smooth operation during server maintenance.
October 4, 2026 (Update 2): 📱 Smarter mobile stacking & tablet breakpoints (0.5.3)
- Adaptive column stacking in Elementor & Gutenberg: hero rows (headline next to image) and split CTA sections now stack naturally on mobile instead of forcing a squeezed multi-column view.
- Smart mobile padding: oversized side paddings (e.g. 80px) automatically step down on mobile screens to 24px, completely eliminating horizontal scroll on phones.
- Tablet grid wrapping: three-card rows wrap cleanly into two per row on tablet viewports instead of squeezing into narrow strips.
October 4, 2026: 📐 Sharper layouts in Gutenberg and Elementor (0.5.2)
- Full-width pages in Gutenberg: block themes no longer squeeze the page into a narrow content column.
- Gradients and grids in Gutenberg: gradient backgrounds show up again, and three-column card grids stay on one row. Every block passes the block editor's validation.
- Cleaner Elementor sections: footer columns are no longer cut off on desktop and tablet, fill-width buttons span their card, logo rows are centred and round avatars stay round.
- Shadows and dividers as designed: card shadows use your design values instead of Elementor's heavy default, and a border on one side only (like a line under the navigation) is kept in every builder.
- Clearer wording throughout the plugin.
October 3, 2026: 🧩 Paste straight into Elementor, Elementor 3 support & sharper layouts
- Paste directly into the Elementor editor: copy the result, right-click in Elementor and choose "Paste from other site". No template import needed.
- Works on Elementor 3 and 4: container gaps now survive Elementor 3.x. Tested on 3.25 and 4.2.
- Rows keep their shape: a fixed column next to a flexible one (label and details, image and text) keeps its Figma widths instead of collapsing into equal halves. Breadcrumbs and icon rows stay on one line.
- Hero images in Gutenberg: a frame with an image fill keeps its content and shows the image as a cover background. Decorative vector strokes no longer turn into borders.
- Font check: after converting, ready→made lists the fonts your design uses and tells you which brand fonts need to be installed on your site. Gutenberg output gets a proper fallback font stack.
- Pick your builder once: the plugin asks which builder you use the first time and preselects it from then on. Elementor has its own paste hint.
August 4, 2026 — ⚡ Elementor export, tablet breakpoint & tighter spacing
- Figma to Elementor — select a frame, convert, and import the result through Templates > Import. You get native Elementor templates: real flex containers and real widgets, not a static block of markup. Every container carries the name of its Figma layer, so the navigator reads like your design.
- Tablet and mobile variants written for you — grids step down to two columns, spacing and type scale between breakpoints, and rows stack where they should.
- Icons stay icons — icon fonts and small vectors become Elementor icon widgets instead of stray text or stretched images. Logos built from many vector paths export as one asset.
- Links and buttons survive — anything clickable in Figma arrives clickable, with buttons sized to their label.
- Correct nesting, honest spacing — imported layouts keep their hierarchy across all targets, and vertical spacing now matches the design instead of inflating.
- Requirements — Elementor 4.x, and enable "unfiltered file uploads" in Elementor settings so SVG assets import.
July 16, 2026 — 🔒 Opt-in privacy, real breakpoints & Media Library images
- Dev-grade responsive output — the converter infers your design's content column and emits a proper centered container (1140 / 1200 / 1280 / 1320px) with a fluid gutter. Media queries now use fixed 1024 / 768 / 480px breakpoints instead of design-scaled values, and card rows stack at 768px — the way a developer would write it.
- Large images now work in WordPress — images over 400KB are uploaded and referenced by a real URL, so Oxygen 6 and Gutenberg imports display them. Together with companion plugin 1.6.0 (fresh on wordpress.org) they're saved straight into your Media Library at import time.
- Privacy: sharing is now opt-in — conversion-data sharing to help improve ready→made is off by default (Settings → Privacy). When off, nothing leaves Figma. When on, all text is redacted on your machine before anything is sent, and your generated output is never uploaded.
July 2026 — 🚀 The Responsive Update + Oxygen 6
- Oxygen 6 support — output structured for the rebuilt builder, alongside Oxygen Classic.
- Responsive by default — one export reflows desktop → tablet → phone; your desktop layout stays pixel-identical.
- Free-form & pinned designs — absolutely-positioned layouts are segmented into sections and stacked cleanly on mobile.
- Nav → CSS-only hamburger — collapses on mobile with no JavaScript; plus responsive tables and native scroll-snap carousels.
- Semantic HTML — real
<nav>/<header>/<footer>/<section>tags, not<div>soup. - Verified fidelity — every build is gated by an automated visual pixel-diff at design width and phone width.
May 2026 — 🧩 Beyond Oxygen: clean HTML & Gutenberg
- Clean HTML & CSS export — semantic markup with deduplicated, class-based CSS you can drop into any stack.
- Native WordPress Gutenberg blocks — paste straight into the block editor, no page-builder lock-in.
- One engine, every target — a single deterministic layout engine now powers Oxygen, Gutenberg and HTML: same design in, the same clean code out.
February 2026 — 🎯 Smarter classes & dimensions
- Automatic CSS classification — reusable global classes generated from your styles, so repeated elements share one selector.
- Smart dimensions — width/height that respects auto-layout instead of hard-coding every value.
- Improved Figma → Oxygen font matching for more accurate typography out of the box.
November 13, 2025 — 🏷️ Node classification & utility classes
- Semantic node classification with confidence scoring.
- Utility-class system for leaner, more reusable CSS.
